A life remembered
Mr. Dhanraj Rampersad, aged 83, of Marabella, San Fernando, passed peacefully on the 3rd of July 2026 after a long and full life.
Born and raised in the south of Trinidad, he was a devout Hindu of the Marabella Hindu Mandir and worked for many years as a port worker on the docks, a labour he carried with quiet pride. A gentle patriarch who loved his garden and his grandchildren in equal measure, he is survived by his children Krishna, Baldath and Devika, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Prayers will be held at the family home and at the Marabella Hindu Mandir, followed by cremation at the Shore of Peace Cremation Site, Mosquito Creek. Family and friends are warmly invited to wear white. Donations in his memory may be made to the San Fernando General Hospital.
