A life remembered
Mrs Josephine Nunes, née Correia, aged 82, of San Fernando, passed peacefully on Tuesday the 7th of July, 2026, at home in the gentle company of her loved ones.
Born and raised in San Fernando, Josephine was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and known throughout her district as a gifted seamstress whose careful hand dressed generations of families for their happiest occasions. She is survived by her daughters Marguerite and Theresa, her son Bernard, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Josephine Nunes will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, San Fernando, followed by interment at Paradise Cemetery, San Fernando. Her family is deeply grateful for the prayers, comfort and companionship of all who knew and loved her. No flowers by request — donations may be made in her memory to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
