A life remembered
Mrs. Kamini Ramkissoon, aged 66, of Debe, Penal-Debe, passed peacefully on the 18th of June 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished.
Born and raised among the sugar-belt villages of south Trinidad, she was a devout member of the Debe Jama Masjid and a familiar, generous presence at every village gathering. For much of her life she worked as a cook, and her doubles, curry and sweet-rice were spoken of with fondness across the district. She is lovingly remembered by her children Nazim, Farouk and Shamla, her many grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Janazah (funeral) prayers will be held at the Debe Jama Masjid, followed by burial at the Debe Muslim Cemetery. Family and friends are kindly asked to wear light colours. No flowers by request — donations may be made in her memory to the San Fernando General Hospital.
