A life remembered
Mrs. Zaleena Mohammed, aged 87, of Talparo, Couva-Tabaquite-Talparo, passed peacefully on 2nd April 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born and raised in central Trinidad, Zaleena served for many years as a civil servant, remembered by colleagues for her quiet competence and unfailing courtesy. A devout member of the Talparo Muslim community, she took great comfort in her faith and in the prayers of the local masjid. She is survived and deeply mourned by her sons Anwar and Rashid, her daughter Fazeeda, and a large circle of grandchildren, relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Janazah (funeral) prayers will be observed at the Talparo Jama Masjid.
- ✦Burial will follow at the Talparo Muslim Cemetery, in keeping with Islamic rites.
- ✦Family and friends are warmly welcomed. Donations in her memory may be made to the Talparo masjid.
