Mr. Trevor Williams
A year of remembrance for Trevor

Three years on, we opened this wall to remember Trevor — the carpenter, the deacon, the storyteller. Family, friends, parishioners and old workmates from Arouca left a year of quiet messages here.
The wall is closed now, but the memories remain. Walk good, Daddy.
Walk good — a Trinidadian farewell that carries the weight of love across every parish, every shore, until we meet again above.
Messages from those who loved Trevor
Best carpenter Christiana ever knew. I still have the chisel he gave my father.
I baptised three of his grandchildren. He held each one like a small treasure. A faithful friend.
He fixed my Granny's door free of charge in 2009. We never forgot.
A faithful deacon for twenty-six years. He read at every Easter service. We feel his absence.
Calling from across the water. Uncle Trevor was the reason I learned to fix things. We miss him.
A year, Daddy. We lit a candle at the family plot tonight. The hills were quiet.
