Belgroves Funeral Home Company Limited
Celebrating Life's Precious Memories

How we work.
Belgroves Funeral Home Company Limited (BFHL) is a full-service funeral home established on 15 August 1888. Our story began with Mary Jane Belgrove, a courageous woman born in Barbados who, once freed from enslavement, brought her family to Trinidad and settled in San Fernando. There her sons built coffins in the family's backyard, and that humble trade grew into one of Trinidad and Tobago's most enduring funeral homes. Five generations of the Belgrove family have since carried the work forward.
“We act in ways consistent with the highest standard of professional integrity, demonstrating respect and trust in others, and committing to producing planned results within ethical guidelines.”
Today the company is led by Keith Belgrove, the fifth generation of the family, who over several decades expanded Belgroves into a group of six funeral homes and four modern crematoria across Trinidad and Tobago. We opened the country's first private crematorium, helped found Trinidad and Tobago's first Funeral Directors Association, and continue to invest in modern facilities — including our newest crematorium in Tobago.
We understand that losing someone you love can be one of life's most difficult moments. Our memorial coordinators guide families through every step, from choosing a casket to arranging music, flowers and the order of service. Trinidad and Tobago is rich in cultural and religious diversity, and we are experienced in honouring all faiths and customs — Christian, Hindu, Muslim and others — coordinating with priests, pandits, imams and officiants so that each farewell is meaningful and appropriate.
Our care does not end at the graveside. Belgroves offers free bereavement support through a qualified counsellor, and our branches in San Fernando, Port of Spain, Chaguanas, Trincity, Point Fortin and Tobago are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Whether you need immediate assistance or wish to plan ahead, our team is here to help you honour your loved one's life with dignity and care.

Full funeral direction from the first call to the final farewell. We handle permits, documentation and all paperwork so your family can focus on remembrance.
- 02
Burial Services
Dignified burial arrangements, from traditional in-ground burials and private family plots to modern underground crypts at our own Orange Grove Memorial Gardens. Choose from a range of quality caskets, and let our team coordinate with churches, cemeteries and officiants while managing all permits and logistics.
- 03

Cremation carried out with care at four modern, fully licensed crematoria in San Fernando, Trincity, Point Fortin and Tobago. Options range from direct cremation to cremation with a memorial service, with a choice of urns, wall niches or inurnment in our columbarium.
- 04
Orange Grove Memorial Gardens
Our own private memorial gardens: a modern green cemetery set among tropical planting, with underground crypts, columbarium wall niches and a wall of remembrance — a secure and peaceful resting place where families can visit and reflect.
- 05
Plan Ahead
Pre-planning lets you arrange your own funeral or cremation in advance, record your wishes and lock in today's prices. It offers peace of mind and relieves your family of difficult decisions and financial pressure at an already painful time.
- 06

What families say.
We had no idea where to start, but the staff at Belgroves San Fernando explained everything clearly and worked within our budget. They were extremely understanding and answered every question.
Kandice Elcock-King and her team at Belgroves Funeral Home provided exceptional support and services that eased our burden and honored my dad's memory with dignity and respect.
