A life remembered
Mrs. Althea Burrell (née Lee), aged 80, of Port of Spain, Port of Spain, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Port of Spain, Althea was a devoted member of Couva New Testament for over 49 years. She worked as a school principal and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Percival, Beverley, Pearl, Lascelles, Keith, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Trinidad and Tobago and the diaspora.
"Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord."
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Althea will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Port of Spain, Port of Spain at 3:00 PM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Port of Spain Infirmary.
