A life remembered
Mrs. Hortense Thomas (née Rattray), aged 78, of Aranguez, San Juan-Laventille, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in San Juan-Laventille, Hortense was a devoted member of Penal Church of God for over 18 years. She worked as a postmistress and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Dorette, Lucille, Violet, Percival, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Trinidad and Tobago and the diaspora.

Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Hortense will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Aranguez, San Juan-Laventille at 2:00 PM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the San Juan-Laventille Infirmary.
