A life remembered
Mr John Cipriani, aged 84, of Carenage, Diego Martin, passed peacefully on Thursday the 9th of July, 2026, with his family close by his side.
Born by the sea in Carenage, John spent his working life upon the water as a sea captain, well known and respected along the north-western coast of Trinidad. A faithful Roman Catholic, he worshipped for many years at St Finbar's RC Church, Diego Martin. He is survived by his wife Josephine, his sons Peter and Michael, his daughter Antoinette, and a large and loving family across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of John Cipriani will be celebrated at St Finbar's Roman Catholic Church, Diego Martin, followed by interment at the Diego Martin Public Cemetery. The family gives thanks for the good wishes, prayers and kindness of friends and neighbours near and far. No flowers by request — donations may be made in his memory to the Living Water Community.
