A life remembered
Mrs Margaret Scott, aged 77, of Diego Martin, passed peacefully on 5 July 2026 in the comfort of her family. She will be dearly remembered for her patience, her kindness and the care she gave to generations of young people.
Born and raised in Trinidad, Margaret devoted her working life to the education of children as a secondary-school teacher, shaping many pupils with warmth and wisdom. A faithful member of All Saints Anglican Church, Port of Spain, she is survived by her husband Michael, her children Bernard and Theresa, her grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and former pupils across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A funeral service in thanksgiving for the life of Margaret Scott will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Port of Spain, followed by interment at Mucurapo (Western) Cemetery, Port of Spain. Family, friends and former pupils are warmly invited to celebrate a life given to learning and to faith. No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association.
