A life remembered
Mr. Nazim Khan, aged 89, of Mayaro, in the Mayaro/Rio Claro district, passed peacefully on 25 April 2026, in the comfort of his home and family.
Born and raised in Mayaro, he was a devoted member of the Mayaro Muslim community and a regular at the local masjid. A respected motor mechanic, he served the drivers and fishermen of the district for over half a century, known for his honesty and his willingness to help any neighbour. He is survived by his children Ashmead, Nazreen and Feroze, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Janazah (funeral) prayers will be held at the Mayaro Jama Masjid, in keeping with Muslim rites.
- ✦Burial will follow the same day at the Mayaro Muslim Cemetery.
- ✦Mourners are kindly asked to wear modest, light clothing; in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Mayaro District Health Facility.
