A life remembered
Mr. Rajendra Bachan, aged 67, of Couva, Couva-Tabaquite-Talparo, passed peacefully on 15th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in central Trinidad, Rajendra was a devoted member of the Couva Presbyterian congregation and a familiar, cheerful presence on the roads he served for more than three decades as a taxi driver. Known for his patience and his kindness to every passenger, he leaves to mourn his wife Rookmin, his children Anil, Rina and Devan, his grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦A funeral service will be held at the Couva Presbyterian Church, followed by interment at the Couva Public Cemetery. Mourners are kindly asked to wear white or light colours. No flowers by request — donations may be made in his memory to the Couva District Health Facility.
