A life remembered
Mrs. Renee Modeste (née Sookdeo), aged 58, of Enterprise, Chaguanas, passed peacefully on Tuesday, 30th June 2026, surrounded by those she loved.
Born and raised in central Trinidad, Renee was a warm-hearted member of the Church of the Holy Spirit (Anglican) in Chaguanas and a gifted cook whose kitchen fed family, church and community alike — no gathering in Enterprise was complete without one of her pots. She is survived by her husband Anil, her children Kavita, Marlon and Shivana, her grandchildren, her mother, and many relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦A funeral service will be held at the Church of the Holy Spirit (Anglican), Chaguanas, followed by interment at the Chaguanas Public Cemetery. Mourners are kindly asked to wear light or pastel colours. No flowers by request — donations may be made in her memory to the Chaguanas District Health Facility.
