A life remembered
Mr. Shameer Ibrahim, aged 86, of Arima, passed peacefully on 18th May 2026. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Born and raised in Arima, he was a devoted member of the Arima Jama Masjid and a familiar, respected presence at Friday prayers. For much of his life he worked as a motor mechanic, known throughout the district for his honesty and skill. He is lovingly remembered by his children Nazim, Farouk and Aliyah, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Janazah (funeral) prayers will be held at the Arima Jama Masjid.
- ✦In keeping with Islamic custom, burial will follow the same day at the Arima Muslim Cemetery.
- ✦The family thanks all who have kept him in their prayers and asks that he be remembered in du'a.
