A life remembered
Mr. Shameer Ibrahim, aged 86, of Arima, passed peacefully on 18th May 2026. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Born and raised in Arima, he was a devoted member of the Arima Jama Masjid and a familiar, respected presence at Friday prayers. For much of his life he worked as a motor mechanic, known throughout the district for his honesty and skill. He is lovingly remembered by his children Nazim, Farouk and Aliyah, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives and friends across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Janazah (funeral) prayers will be held at the Arima Jama Masjid. In keeping with Islamic custom, burial will follow the same day at the Arima Muslim Cemetery. The family thanks all who have kept him in their prayers and asks that he be remembered in du'a.
