A life remembered
Mrs. Theresa Gomes, aged 75, of St Clair, Port of Spain, passed peacefully on 21st June 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in the capital and a devout member of the Church of the Assumption, Maraval, Theresa devoted her working years to nursing at the Port of Spain General Hospital, where her gentleness comforted a generation of patients. She is dearly remembered by her children Anthony, Maria and Cheryl, her grandchildren, and a close family spread across Trinidad & Tobago and the diaspora.
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Maraval, followed by interment at the Lapeyrouse Cemetery, Port of Spain.
- ✦The family gently invites mourners to wear white in her memory.
- ✦In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Port of Spain General Hospital.
